Frequently Asked Questions
1) Do I need prior experience?
No. Our beginner courses assume no background. We teach tool safety, material basics, and the first sequence of inspections.
2) What tools are required?
For entry-level classes: utility knife with fresh blades, edge beveler, bone folder, stitching awl, water-based cement, and clamps. Each course includes a detailed kit list.
3) Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. You’ll earn a completion certificate after passing practical checkpoints and a final quality inspection rubric.
4) How are live workshops different from on-demand?
Live workshops include real-time feedback and small-group critiques. On-demand courses include the same projects with self-paced checklists.
5) Can I get a refund?
You can request a full refund within 7 days if you’ve viewed less than 20% of the lessons. Workshops allow cancellation up to 14 days before the start date.
6) Do you ship materials?
We provide an optional kit for many courses. Shipping is available in most regions and calculated at checkout.
7) Are your adhesives safe?
We prioritize low-VOC, water-based cements when appropriate and teach ventilation, PPE, and storage best practices.
8) Do you cover business topics?
Yes. We provide pricing models, intake forms, and customer communication templates to help you start or improve a shop.
